How To Get Your Glow On!



Get your glow on!! Let your natural beauty shine through you with herbs' relaxing and healing aromas. If you’re looking for a natural way to:

  • Draw impurities out of your skin

  • Relieve Congested skin

  • Reduce Acne

  • Hydrated and soothe skin

  • Calm the skin

  • Increase circulation

  • Take your self-care practice up a notch


Then, you’re in for a treat! In this blog post, I will teach you how to create a Glowing Skin Herbal Detox Facial Steam but first, let's start with the benefits of natural herbal facial steams.


Herbal facial steams of one of my favorite ways to release impurities from the skin while having a moment of pause to breathe in beautifully scented healing herbal aromas. It is quite a beautiful experience.


To create your own natural beauty spa experience at home:

  • Bring a pot of filtered water to a boil

  • Reduce to a simmer + herbs of choice (for your skin type)

  • Let simmer for 2 min

  • Drape a towel overhead with freshly cleansed skin and let the beautiful herbs work their magic for 8-10 min.

  • Follow with a clay mask for even better results, or simply tone and moisturize as normal.


  1. Sensitive skin herbs: rose, calendula, lavender, comfrey

  2. Acne-Prone skin herbs: rosemary, eucalyptus, sage, peppermint

  3. Oily skin herbs: rose, Rosemary, raspberry, sage


Look for loose organic herbs and store them in mason jars. So pretty! You can create your gorgeous blend based on your skin type. If you are in a pinch, you can also cut open your tea bags and use the herbs in them. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil too!


I’ve been enjoying this for years, and it has been such a beautiful practice that I always look forward to. I hope you enjoy it and it relaxes you on a deep level.
